What is narcolepsy?
Narcolepsy is a condition characterized by recurrent, uncontrollable brief episodes of sleep and lapses in consciousness, often associated with hypnagogic hallucinations (seeing and hearing things as one is falling asleep), cataplexy (sudden loss of muscle tone) and sleep paralysis.
