What is concussion?

A concussion is a type of brain injury that may or may not be accompanied by loss of consciousness lasting seconds to minutes. Concussions are a common type of injury related to sports but can also occur from a blow to the head or fall involving the head.

Reports may be affected by other conditions and/or medication side effects. We ask about general symptoms (anxious mood, depressed mood, fatigue, pain, and stress) regardless of condition.
