What is chronic idiopathic neutropenia?
Chronic Idiopathic Neutropenia (CIN) is characterized by abnormally low levels of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell. Individuals with CIN may experience more frequent infections, which is directly related to how low the white blood cell count is. Many patients need lifelong treatment.
