What is fluoroquinolone toxicity?

The fluoroquinolones are synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotics, some examples include ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin and gatifloxacin. Serious adverse effects may occur to the central nervous system, heart, and kidneys as a result of fluoroquinolone use.
