What is psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune and inflammatory disease of the skin. It is characterized by patches or plaques that are typically red, rounded, and covered by white or silvery scales. Because of its systemic nature, additional symptoms may vary in presentation and severity.
