What is shortsightedness?

Shortsightedness (myopia) is characterized by an impaired ability to see far away objects due to the lengthened shape of the eyeball. This abnormality, which usually happens because of age, genetics or physical strain from the environment decreases the eye's ability to focus on objects.

How do members experience shortsightedness?
