Advice & Tips: It came to a point with the MS that the CPAP was no longer compatible and at that point I had lost about 70 pounds so the snoozing was no longer an issue when I didn't have it on. To this day I rarely snooze unless I have allergies or a cold. I have kept most of the weight off also. Still could stand to loose another 50 lbs but I am 62 and scaring 63 to death so I am just thankful for being here and walking.

    None
  • Adherence
    Sometimes
  • Burden
    Very hard to take

Advice & Tips: The positive effects are well worth it if I can ever get the hang of it again. I went the first 3 years and never went without it and now I fight it tooth and nail. I'll do it for several nights and then no do it for a couple or so weeks. I will win this battle and learn to use it again. You loose weight and sleep better if you can learn to wear the darn thing all the time.

  • Side effects

  • Adherence
    Sometimes
  • Burden
    Somewhat hard to take
Dosage: Daily
Advice & Tips: It has been very difficult for me to find a mask that I will keep on and that I can't snore through. I also will sleep with my mouth open with any kind of mask or candula even with a strap around my head. I get tangled in the hose and it makes me cough a choke worse than I tipically do during the night. I wind up just pulling it off and not wearing it or not putting it on to begin with. I have promised my husband I would try again to use it. I used it for 3 years with no problem and this started after I quit smoking and got sick and had allergies worse.
