Advice & Tips: I can't believe that I wrote the above evaluation and then 3 weeks later I stopped taking the aspirin myself. I guess I am a baaaaad girl! I think that I will go to the store tomorrow and pick up some of that 81mg aspirin and start taking that. I shouldn't have to worry so much about stomach irritation from that. i have such terrible IBS that I don't want to do anything to aggravate my guts. I am sure that a lot of you can understand that.

  • Adherence

Dosage: 325 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: If your doctor recommends that you take aspirin for your heart then you had better take it. Thin blood is much easier for the heart to pump so the heart doesn't have to work as hard and as we get older that is very important.

Jul 14, 2016 (Started Feb 15, 2009)

  • Effectiveness
    Major (for ischemia stroke)
  • Side effects
    None
  • Adherence
    Always
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take
Dosage: 81 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: This is simply a coated low dose aspirin which I take (1/80mg.) daily for the prevention of Ischemic Stroke activity, as recommended by my Doctor. I'd only like to add that this low dose tablet should not be discontinued without the advice of a Doctor.
