Generic name: Bupropion

Aplenzin is a brand name for an extended release and once daily dosage formulation of the antidepressant, bupropion, a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI) used for the treatment of depression. It has also been used for the prevention of seasonal affective disorder.

Advice & Tips: The only reason I stopped the Aplenzin,was because my psychiatrist is no longer getting samples - he gave me samples. He has switched me to Wellbutrin XR

Advice & Tips: I can't really tell how much it helps, but I am much better than I used to be, so the efficacy may be higher than just slight

Advice & Tips: This medicine is VERY EXPENSIVE OVER $400 a MONTH but I have mail-in which makes it $100 for 3 Months.
