What is pituitary adenoma?
Pituitary adenomas are typically benign, slow-growing tumors that arise from cells in the pituitary gland that are generally thought of as either hormone-producing that produce an active hormone in excessive amounts or hormone-inactive tumors that may cause problems related to the size of the tumor.
