What is 3-Methylglutaconic Aciduria?
3-Methylglutaconic Aciduria refers to a group of five rare, different conditions that affect the body's mitochondria. Causes, symptoms, and treatment of the five different types of 3MGA vary, but all types of 3MGA can result in a build-up of harmful amounts of organic acids and toxins in the body.
