Advice & Tips: My Cefaly malfunctioned, causing uncharacteristic tapping sensations that increased suddenly into frightening shocks. The company's rep told me to try a new electrode, and see what happens. I refused, and insisted that they diagnose the problem with their equipment instead of a live human being. It took a few days, but they are replacing my device. I received replacement electrodes today. I welcome any questions.

Advice & Tips: I began using the device timidly. I stopped the intensity from increasing beyond my comfort level, until I had a migraine. At that time, I let the intensity increase to nearly maximum, because the uncomfortable sensation was a LOT better than the feeling of the migraine. Now, I enjoy beginning my day by using the Cefaly at maximum intensity. It scrubs out any migraine that I have when I wake up, and gives my day a gentle, easy start as I transition from sleep. I use the Cefaly time for meditating. I appreciate how well the Cefaly helps me to establish this routine. Meditating makes the Cefaly discomfort entirely acceptable, and the Cefaly helps my body and mind to relax into meditation. Sometimes I use the Cefaly for several cycles, totaling an hour or more. The first cycle eliminates my anxiety, nausea and light sensitivity. Each cycle reduces the intensity of the pain. I also use the Cefaly every night, when I'm ready to unwind to sleep. I paid approximately $400 for my Cefaly and 4 month's worth of electrodes. It came with a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer at cefaly.us
