Advice & Tips: My rational for having this procedure done is a report of a person with MS whose progression seemed to stop after the FT. The 'theory' is that either there are certain strains of bacteria that produce compounds your motor neurons need or there are certain strains that produce toxins. The idea of a transplant is to restore your intestinal flora to a healthy state. There is no scientific evidence to support any of this. On to the evaluation. One surprising change I noticed is that my muscles are no long cramping at night (its only been two nights so far). Usually I wake up in the middle of the night 5 to 10 times with a painful muscle cramp in my calf or thigh. The first night after the procedure I slept all through the night. I awoke in the morning somewhat surprised.
Cost: $25-49 monthly
