Advice & Tips:
I went into the hospital and they monitor my heart. They and I notice I had an irregular heartbeat and it would be worse when my heart would so down. They took me off of Atenolol and being off of Atenolol I would have tachycardia (fast heart rate) but no irregular heartbeat.

Advice & Tips:
I take Atenolol only when I need it for an internal restlessness (akathisia), which makes me want to get up and move. It works GREAT, when I start feeling the restlessness coming on I take two to four Atenolol tablets and soon the restlessness is gone.
