About planton

Born in Foxborough, Mass, 1947, lived there through high school; attended Beloit College, WI, 1965-1970, BA, MAT, attended UW-Madison, 1973-74, MLS. In the meantime (1970), I married Margaret Farmer, of Cincinnati, OH--we've been married 45 years, with 2 adult children. My mother and her father both died of "Parkinson's complications"... I've been a librarian/library director since 1974, retired 2005, due to chronic pain syndrome/ Parkinson's. I'm probably best known for having assisted an "unknown author", Dan Brown, with researching his books-- of these, _Da Vinci Code_ and _Angels and Demons_ are movies. I also competed internationally for the US in Karate/Ju-jitsu
and brought back numerous awards and inducted into the International Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2003...
