    I am out of bed, able to walk around my house predominantly unaided. I am alive. My health is improving every day.     • Advice & TipsAm happy to report that deep breathing has become more of a instinctive habit now. It took some time to get here, but now it feels more natural to take a deep relaxing belly breath when tension, fear or anger arises rather than react from a place of fear and lack. Now, I feel empowered by the breath to stand still, strong, centre myself and react from a place of love and empathy (for myself as well as others).

    • Advice & TipsI practice meditative breathing, deep down into the belly, more regularly than I used to, both to manage pain, as I climb each stair for example, and to keep my mind in the moment rather than wondering off to the past or a perceived future. Feeling centred and grounded means I can connect with my inner strength more easily and not feel as phased by physical pain, emotional overwhelm or mental fatigue.
