What is retinoschisis?
Retinoschisis is an eye disorder characterized by splitting of the retina's neurosensory layers. It is commonly asymptomatic but in some cases, may lead to vision loss. Retinoschisis can be either degenerative which affects adults or x-linked which affects mainly males.
