What is pseudoarthrosis of the spine?
Pseudoarthrosis or non union may occur after a spinal fusion. Spinal fusion is a surgical procedure used to correct problems with the small bones of the spine (vertebrae). Pseudoarthrosis occurs when the fusion is incomplete and there is improper bone healing.
