What is pulmonary fibrosis?
Pulmonary fibrosis is a chronic, progressive fibrosing interstitial pneumonia of unknown cause and results in the lungs becoming thick and stiff, or scarred, over time. PF may be caused by medications, exposures, or underlying diseases of the autoimmune system.
