What is Gitelman's syndrome?
Gitelman syndrome is a genetic kidney disorder that causes causes the kidneys to pass sodium, magnesium, chloride, and potassium into the urine, rather than allowing it to be resorbed into the bloodstream. It usually appear in late childhood or adolescence.
