Dosage: 600 mcg/2.4 mL Daily
Advice & Tips: Definitely take this treatment if you can afford it. It is the ONLY osteoporosis drug that has kept me from losing bone mass (the first year) and allowed me to gain some bone mass (the 2nd year). With the allowed treatment at an end I don't know what I am going to do now but my doctor thinks I should stay off all osteoporosis drugs for the following year to see what happens -- perhaps the Forteo will continue to work for a while yet.
Cost: $200+ monthly

Advice & Tips: I thought this might be difficult to do myself due to my dexterity problems but it is easier than I thought. This is the last thing for me to try since I've failed Fosamax, and Reclast. Bone density just keeps worsening.
