What is skull base tumor?

Skull base tumors are those that affect the base area of the skull. This can include brain tumors, pituitary tumors, nasal tumors, and other tumors that affect the base of the skull or nasal passages. These tumors usually occur on the inside of the skull but may also be present on the outside.
