What is syndactyly?

Syndactyly is a characteristic of webbed or conjoined fingers or toes. The fingers and/or toes fail to separate into individual appendages. Usually the digits are joined by soft tissue. However, with complex syndactyly, the underlying bones may be fused together.

How do members experience syndactyly?
