What is plantar fibroma?
Plantar fibroma or plantar fascial fibromatosis is the excess and thickening of fibrotic tissue of the foot. The excess tissue forms nodules and are usually found at the bottom of the foot. This may cause pain with standing or walking depending on the location of the nodule.
