What is optic nerve glioma?
An optic nerve glioma is a brain tumor that affects one or both of the optic nerves. It may result in the loss of vision and may cause hormonal problems, as they may be located near the part of the brain that controls hormone function. Treatment may include surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy.
