What is monosomy 13?

Monosomy 13, a deletion on chromosome 13, is a rare chromosomal disorder that may be related to Multiple Myeloma. Associated symptoms and findings may vary greatly in range and severity, from case to case, depending on the size and breakpoints of the deletion.
