Lymphogranuloma venereum is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It is an infection of the lymphatic system. Some symptoms may include, swollen lymph nodes around the genitals, and drainage through the skin from lymph nodes.
