What is lipomyelomeningocele?
A lipomyelomeningocele is an abnormal fatty collection (mass) that is located under the skin, it is usually located in the middle of the back and inward to the spinal canal. Symptoms include muscle weakness, bowel or bladder incontinence due to compression of the fatty mass on the nerves.
