What is Li-Fraumeni syndrome?
Li-Fraumeni syndrome is a rare genetic condition that greatly increases a person’s chances of developing cancer. It can cause multiple cancers throughout a patient’s lifetime, with most occurring in childhood or early adulthood. The condition is a result of a mutation in the TP53 gene.
