Juvenile plantar dermatosis is a condition that affects the skin of the feet, under the toes and on the ball of the foot. The skin may look shiny, cracked and peeled. It typically occurs when the skin becomes excessively hydrated and then rapidly dehydrated. Treatment may include barrier creams.
