What is Sprintec?

Sprintec™ is a brand name for the combination of ethunyl estradiol and norgestimate. It is used for the prevention of pregnancy and treatment of acne. Off label is is used to treat hypermenorrhea (menorrhagia); pain associated with endometriosis; dysmenorrhea; and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
