What is Marvelon?

Marvelon® is a Canadian brand name for the combination of ethinyl estradiol and desogesterol and is used for the prevention of pregnancy. Off label it is used in the treatment of hypermenorrhea, pain associated with endometriosis, dysmenorrhea and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
