What is Heat avoidance?

An example of Heat avoidance

Many individuals with MS are sensitive to heat and their symptoms become worse in a hot environment. For these individuals, heat appears to decrease the ability of damaged nerves to conduct electrical impulses, resulting in increased symptoms.

Advice & Tips
Not being able to tolerate temperatures over 24C affected my ability to enjoy fully our holidays with our children as I shifted my day such that I want out in the early in the morning and in the evening. Being alone to go to the markets and do the shopping before my family woke was not a problem! :)
