After graduating from college in 2004, I moved to Washington D.C. to do health policy research at a think tank, but after a couple of years of watching how things work inside the Beltway and on Capitol Hill, I decided it was time to combine my interest in health care with the means to actually make a difference, so I went back to school to learn more about how health care organizations operate within the morass that is our current system.  My interests include innovation in health care services, quality improvement efforts, and the growing momentum surrounding "value-based" health care.  My classes, an in-depth internship at a busy primary care practice in Boston and now my experiences at PLM are equipping me with a lot of great knowledge and tools--hopefully I'll be able to help make the U.S. health care system just a little bit better, in some small way.

Outside of health care, my interests include music, wine tasting, yoga, and travel.
