I was diagnosed with MND/ALS in March 2005.  My wife Zara and I have three children, Harriet, Damian and Margot - Aged 4,3,2 respectively.  I was born in Christchurch and have spent most of my life here apart from when Zara and I spent five years living in Australia and London.  We arrived back from London in 2003.

I had been working as a Commercial Real Estate Agent which I had been doing for nearly 8 years both now and prior to moving away.  While overseas I worked as a consultant in a global dot-com company based in London.  On my return to Christchurch as well as undertaking the Commercial Real Estate work, I established my own business involved in touch screen information kiosks, known as NZKiosk limited (NZKiosk.co.nz).  NZKiosk is a business that I've been growing organically and I've been involved in projects across the country from government departments, museums and retail outlets.
