My illness is such an amazing reminder of the fallen world that we live in. I am so thankful that in light of the trials I face through physical pain and suffering, I have true hope. Hope that I will not have to endure this illness for eternity, but instead, because of the sacrifice God made for all humanity, and the blood that his only son Jesus Christ shed on the cross, I have the privilege of choosing to follow in Christ's footsteps and honor God with every breath of my life. And when my life ends, and my illness persists no more, I have a place waiting for me with my Father in heaven!
