Went to the dr today. Mentioned my lump, he sent me immediately for a chest x ray. Says he thinks I may have pulmonary fibrosis, but he wants the 2nd opinion from the radiologist before he starts treatment. I don't know what to think

Went to SF for the weekend. On the way home we stopped and got a burger and fries and a chocolate malt. Got home and started throwing up! Now there's an end to a wonderful weekend!

Been nauseated almost all day. Ate a McChicken sandwich yesterday and I think that did my stomach in. My doctor has given his okay. I finally threw up this evening and feel much better. We are supposed to leave on the train at 1:55am! Talk to y'all when I get back!

Went to my rheumatologist today and found that I lost 12 lbs in just over a month! I am down to 3 mg of prednisone per day from a starting dose of 10 per day so the doctor indicates that is what is kick starting my weight loss. My blood test also indicate my kidneys are back to normal. I have no idea what I'm doing that is working so well, but it is nice to have the weight coming off. I have gained over 100 lbs since I started on prednisone over 24 years ago.

Neck is doing better. Tired of taking my limit of painkillers to relax the muscles. I think my fibromyalgia and my RA have joined together to flare all at once. Getting excited about the trip as we leave EARLY (approx 2am) Fri morning.

Durham is right about in the middle of the northern part of CA. We're 7 miles south of Chico. Is Sunnyvale in the south or north part of the Bay Area? My Aunt and Uncle lived in Richmond and worked in Pinole for years, so that's about all I know other than SF. We're going to a convention for my husband's union in SF right after we come back from our cruise. I think Sept will wear me out! Do your knees swell or do you have bad cartilage? I ruined the cartilage in my left knee when I played soccer in junior high.

Neck has been bothering me all week and that always worries me. I was supposed to have multiple discs fused but they couldn't do so because they had already deteriorated too badly so anytime my neck starts bothering me for more than just a day, I start worrying.

Years ago I had acupuncture on my poor torn up left knee. (8th grade girls soccer!) It worked great on the torn cartilage. I think my insurance will cover it so I should ask my regular doctor if he will refer me over. Thanks for the suggestion!
