What is Dalfampridine?

Dalfampridine is a potassium channel blocker that acts by blocking potassium channels in damaged nerve fibers enabling the axon to transmit nerve impulses again. It is indicated as a treatment to improve walking in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).
