Advice & Tips: I inject my copaxone every evening before bed after my shower. I have found that if I inject slowly I have much less trouble with pain & lumps after the injection. The stinging, pain & itch has decreased over time as I have been on Copaxone for over 8 months. You are not supposed to massage the site for 24 hours after injecting but it helps to do so if it has been >24hrs. I will never be able to know for sure but I believe this treatment has been very effective. I have been doing much better after several months on it.

Advice & Tips: My taking of this medication is due to the loss of brain cells as opposed to relapses persay .. my neuro conducted a spectroscopy and didn't like that issue about the brain cells . I didn't reply yes or no to unexpected benefits as at first I thought I was feeling better but I think now that it was just wishful thinking . I am all for positive believe me . As for side effects , the book which shows diagrams wher to inject is so way off that I gave my 4th shot too high up above my belly button . The next day I felt horrible and called up Teva . The nurse said a false exacerbation. Then they called back and that nurse said she is documenting it as there were no notes by the previous nurse . I am sure no drug maker wants to hear the bad but Teva says it does , so when I suggested making the diagrams more accurate as people like me are going to go by what they see and can comprehend . Well, whatever . They made notes . Now I know better and it does make you have site issues , the rest is of course unknown as that is how it works right ? You have no way of knowing , like my MS , if it is workiing ?
