Citalopram hydrobromide (HBr) is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Citalopram affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. It is used in the treatment of depression.

Advice & Tips: Effective. It was difficult at first to make the connection between depression and lack of motivation. I m now up to 30mg daily but will seek to up this soon.

Advice & Tips: There is the perception around antidepressants which is false. It is valid treatment for what could otherwise be a debilitating personal stasis. It is well worth getting past the negative perception and trying this treatment especially when ALS becomes a monkey on your back
