Antioxidants such as vitamin E act to protect your cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of energy metabolism. It is the collective name for a set of 8 related tocopherols and tocotrienols, fat-soluble vitamins with antioxidant properties.
Advice & Tips:
I have ALS with both upper and lower neurone damage yet my progression has been slow having survived 14 years from first symptoms and still have quality of life. The only side effect was occasional diahoria which I think was natures way of saying you have taken a bit too much.
I would recommend people to take it as soon as possible after diagnosis. It needs to be natural vitamin-E. Look at Dr Carsten Hager and vitamin E on the internet to find out why I take it.
