Nicotine is an addictive substance in tobacco products. As the active ingredient in smoking cessation aids (gum, nasal spray, transdermal patch, inhaler and lozenge) it is used for the relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Transdermal application is used to manage ulcerative colitis.

Advice & Tips: Does not properly simulate a cigarette and it causes my throat to feel as though I swallowed glass. It's more expensive and insurance doesn't cover it but I'm buying one of those electronic cigarettes to try and quit. Hopefully that works.
