Amantadine is used to treat Parkinson's Disease and "parkinson-like" symptoms such as stiffness and shaking that may be caused by the use of certain drugs. It is also an antiviral medication that may be used to treat and prevent certain strains of influenza A.

Advice & Tips: Amantadine helps with dyskinesia. Also, I notice if I take it before I get out of bed, I feel a bit restless and need to get up.

Advice & Tips: I was prescribed this medicine because I was experiencing dyskenisia effect from levodopa. It helps, but it is not perfect. I can still feel some movement.
