Uterosacral ligament suspension is a type of surgery done to create support for the uterus or vaginal vault (top of the vagina in a woman who has had a hysterectomy). It involves the suturing the uterosacral ligaments to the top of the vagina, this procedure is done to treat uterovaginal prolapse.
