What is Litalgin?

Category: Prescription Drugs

Litalgin is a combination of the medications metamizole and pitofenone that is available in Finland. Metamizole is used as a pain reliever and fever reducer, but has been banned by many countries because of a small risk of a severe drop in white blood cell count. Pitofenone is a muscle relaxer.
