Advice & Tips: My bowels cycle from loose to firm monthly. When they're not firm, nature calls 4-5 times a day, it's hard to wipe to cleanliness, and wiping that often leaves me raw and sore. Since I began using a toilet-mounted, cold-water, sanitary bidet, my bottom is happy (i.e., not raw and sore). A plumber (me) installed it for me with a vacuum breaker to protect the water supply. I also take fiber, drink water, and use starch suppositories. Using a sanitary bidet has really improved my quality of life (not to mention significantly reducing my toilet-paper bill).
