What is Endoscopic ultrasound?

Category: Procedures

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) is a combination of an endoscopy and ultrasound in order to obtain images and information about the digestive tract and the surrounding tissue and organs. It differs from an endoscopy because a EUS uses an ultrasound to create an image of the GI tract.
