Acupuncture is a technique of inserting and manipulating needles into specific points on the body. These lie on 'chi meriridans', lines of energy flowing through the body from specific organs. Acupuncture aims to disrupt blockages of chi energy that accumulate in these points to improve health.

Advice & Tips: this treatment is three days a week. I haven't noticed a small benefit after the first visit, but not on the other two I've had.

Advice & Tips: with chronic pain, I actually felt WORSE after the procedure. The insertion of the needles, while normally nearly painless, hurt too much.
