1 patient evaluation for Insulin lispro-insulin lispro protamine

Sep 4, 2010 (Started Jul 04, 2010)

  • Effectiveness
    Moderate (for diabetes type 2)
  • Side effects
    Moderate (fatigue)
  • Adherence
    Always
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take
Dosage: 25 units-75 units/mL Daily
Advice & Tips: Because I had a gastric bypass I have to eat less than what a "normal" person eats. The negative effect of this is hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. It's difficult to know when a negative reaction would occur. The dosage was lowered and I am better, overall with the diabetes. I still have intermittent low blood sugar reactions.
Cost: < $25 monthly
Side effects: fatigue
