Bupropion, a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI) antidepressant is used for the treatment of major depressive disorder, including seasonal affective disorder, and as an adjunct in smoking cessation. It may also be used for attention-deficit/hyperactivity and bipolar disorders.

Advice & Tips: If you are taking the generic extended release make sure it is not dose dumping - releasing too much medicine at once causing side effects. My MS doctor, PCP, and I thought I was in menopause with all the hot flashes and fevers of 99.6! Even kept going in to see if I had a UTI bc of the fevers! What a waste of my time and money!!!

Advice & Tips: I use a pill organizer to keep track of whether or not I have taken my pills for the day and take them at the same time every day. I take pills at night when possible to minimize nausea.
